Ivan is a circus and performance artist from Vermont. He made his first foray into circus arts as a clown and acrobat with Circus Smirkus, touring and performing around New England. He holds a BFA in Physical Theater Performance from Coastal Carolina University (CCU) and is a graduate of the One-Year Physical Theater Intensive program at Accademia Dell’Arte (ADA). He has since completed national tours with Cirque Us, and performed for the Smithsonian Museums, and the Italian Embassy, among other regional performances. Staged Creations include, PUTT PUTT - an original divided mainstage production at CCU, and Unearthed - a Performance from the ADA graduating class of 2019. Having trained as an acrobat, an actor, a dancer, and a movement artist, Ivan strives to connect disciplines under a common physical vocabulary.
